Forget what he/she is doing because it won’t make YOU successful!

Hope you are not thinking that the best way to huge success, happiness and fun is to do what has always been done in the business ~ because everyone else always knows best!  Ok I know that’s probably how you’ve done it so far but here’s the deal about receiving BIG time success so much easier!  AND this goes for anyone not matter how long you have been in YOUR business.

The big secret is ~ you must find your own path and the way to find your path is start listening to your own sense of what is fun and exciting and what feels light.

What Joe writes about in his newsletter is not necessarily what will attract clients to YOU!   It may not be as interesting to you or may not be a subject that you know very much about.

What Sally talks about at her seminars and HOW many seminars she does will not necessarily work for you to attract loads of clients in!  You may find you LOVE doing conference call presentations MUCH more or visa versa.

Do what YOU love doing and what is FUN for YOU! Not just what everyone else is doing.  It will save you years and loads of stress AND above all it will bring you gobs more success so much easier.

On the surface it may seem that copying exactly what someone else is doing may work well.  It may feel like a direction to take in the short run, however, when it comes right down to it THAT doesn’t work to get results.  It’s actually easier to be yourself and listen to what you like and enjoy as your answer.  Ok well it may not be as easy the *very* first time if you are not used to it, but, quickly it will become SO much easier and most of all SO much more profitable!

YES it’s OK to trust what you LIKE!

You may have some issues at first following your own instincts because you are SO used to following everyone else’s advice and opinion. However, it’s worth getting over because when you do start following what YOU like and what comes more easily to you ~ that’s when you will receive the BIG results and huge success.

For BIG success and fulfillment follow what feels lighter, fun and exciting to YOU ~ follow what you truly WANT to do.  Yes receiving huge success and fulfillment can be SO much easier than you are making it.

Make a quick inventory of what you are doing that you *really* like doing and what you *really* don’t like doing.

Then write a list of all the awesome things you LOVE doing to attract clients and grow your business!

WARNING if this ~ awesome things you love doing list ~  is small then we need to get you implementing some of the more 21^st century systems that are based off of things you really like doing and that feel more natural to you.

Are you like Eeyore?

There’s a very good chance that Eeyore complex can be standing in your way of receiving BIG results in your business.

Ask yourself “Are you in the habit of seeing the obstacles or seeing the opportunities on the way to YOUR goals”? Do you see a clear path or do you see ALL the things you need to get through in order to get there?  Do you see a clear path filled with many different opportunities OR have you conditioned yourself to see things blocking you from the BIG success you can receive in your business?

This is a very common and very important mindset situation AND the good news is, once you become conscious of it you can make a rather huge shift in your prosperity.

Most people are in the habit of seeing the obstacles and they are not even conscious of it.  Once you shift to replacing your thoughts of obstacles with seeing the opportunities throughout your whole day then open the flood gates for money, success and loads of ideal clients. It’s really that simple.

However, you will have to give up your Eeyore habits in order to get those results.

It’s simply a habit ~ you can change a habit.  However, you must make a conscious choice to change it.

Do you think winning athletes think a lot about all the reasons they could not win or do they stand around listening to colleagues talk about how bad things are? Nope, they stay very far away from it.  They condition themselves to continually think in opportunities and the positives. YOU can too.

Change your habit by spending 2 full days paying *very* close attention to your thoughts. When you find yourself thinking about the obstacles STOP (you can even say STOP outloud) and then switch to find at least one opportunity to replace it with.

AND when you find others around you talking about the issues and the obstacles, for now, take yourself out of the conversation ~ move to something else or distract them with a different subject.

A simple shift in choice to change your habit will make a huge difference in your life and in your success.

What if making loads of money, success and fun was truly just a choice and a product of your habits?

Tip on real business success:

You must be receiving successes (small or big) continually. When you are receiving continual success, even if it is small, you will then continue to be inspired, excited and have more fun in your business.

Having fun is KEY. When you are having fun you will create even more success.

What if so much more is possible in YOUR business and your life? Ask yourself this very important question ~ “How much success, money and fun am I truly willing to receive?” By just simply asking this question often, you will experience a shift in receiving.  Now this is pretty 21st century stuff so have an open mind and give it a try. What do you have to loose?   What do you have to gain.   Open your mind and ask the question ~ it’s a fun journey.

What would it take for you to create YOUR business into the awesome business that you “really” want?

What if you started ignoring other people’s limiting beliefs and opinions on how things “should” work and you focused much more on the amazing possibilities in front of YOU.  I know you know those possibilities ARE there.

What if the stress and the pressure that you feel is truly coming from you trying to FIT in to what other people believe on how things “should” be done?

What if when you began truly doing it YOUR way and the way that is natural to YOU ~ you begin feeling hugely inspired and the stress and pressure melted away?

What would it take for you create and run your business with everything that comes natural to YOU and not other people’s opinions or beliefs?

What would it take to make that shift fun and enjoyable?

Remember, people want to work with people who are inspiring, vibrant/healthy and balanced BECAUSE  that is what they would like to be too!

It’s very simple human nature!

ARE you all three of those? Or do you compromise thinking it won’t make a difference….in 21st century client attraction it makes a BIG difference! People don’t buy off of good product presentations…they are buying you!

In today’s new era of business, people choose to work with people that “they” want to be like and that “inspire” them. Decisions on who to work with are not made as much on products but NOW on people. There are strong logical reasons as to why this is so in our new era of business but…that lesson is for another day.

If you have ALL of the best systems implemented and lots of great lists you are still at a huge disadvantage if you don’t live the three powerful client attractors. Remember, decisions are made off of human emotion!

So many business people don’t get this and they wonder why they are not attracting MORE!

If you are stressed, tired, uninspiring and all business, and you don’t seem vibrant healthy and balanced then they will not be inspired to work with you. On the other hand if you are all three of these

• Inspiring
• Vibrant & Healthy
• Balanced

Then they will be hugely more attracted to working with YOU. It’s human nature.  They feel they will have more of those things if they work with you.    I see it over and over ~ it is SO obvious. I know deep down you already know this so basically I am here to tell you stop kidding yourself!!

So, are you all three of those? Or are you compromising and kidding yourself that it doesn’t matter.  Well, that is something only YOU can answer.  Be honest with yourself and understand that when you have all three of these YOU WILL ATTRACT more clients (loads more) ~ because people want to work with Inspired and balanced people it’s a natural powerful magnet!

Does it feel like you give up way too soon in your client attraction ..like as soon as you feel as if you should have received something but you didn’t.  Or when you don’t get the results when and how you wanted them?  Do you get unfocused in your client attraction easily?

Ahhh yes, well you are not the only one.  But why?  Where does that come from?

I am about to answer a VERY very big question for you so read carefully…

It comes from not fully and truly believing in yourself and the systems that YOU are using!

When you use the old school prospecting methods like cold calling, cold walking, traditional seminars and regular old cold mailings ~ it subjects you to what I call ~ the negative energy of constant rejection.  That energy is enough to suck the awesome-ness right out of you.  Yuck!

AND deep down intuitively you know that they are not very effective  ~  in many cases it even turns people off AND most of all ~ they don’t feel natural to YOU.

So what happens is not only have you lost belief in yourself and the awesome-ness of YOU but you also have an issue believing in the old school systems you are using because intuitively you know they don’t really work very well.  And that simply leads to be unfocused and moving from one thing to another.

Time to stop all of that and start believing in YOU and start using systems that feel natural and right!  Feeling right is what brings huge success!

You MUST believe in the infinite possibilities.

The client attraction prospecting methods you use must feel good! They must feel natural and fun!  They must feel like a great fit for YOU.  Don’t get caught up in using all that old school stuff just because that’s what people have been using for decades! It doesn’t work!  J  You should be using methods and systems that showcase the awesomeness of YOU and feel great!

Most advisors are still using old school methods for one reason…because that’s what everyone else seems to be doing and that’s what people in this industry have been doing for years.

Yikes ~ that is a scary reason ~  look at this comparison it will blow your mind ~  look at how long they thought blood letting was the right thing to do in medicine ~ 2,000. years.  WOW!!  So just because others are doing it and it’s how it’s “always” been done  ~ don’t be fooled.  Follow your true intuitive instinct.

NOW let’s talk a little more about what I call “believing in your awesome-ness”.  It’s actually very simple ~  to attract loads of ideal clients easily and faster you MUST believe in the awesomeness of YOU!

You must believe that you will achieve even beyond your wildest dreams. Do you? Or are you just going along everyday doing tasks and hoping they will get you somewhere.  If that’s how you feel then you have lost the awesome-ness of YOU!

You can not be stuck in the past & past experience! You must feel with every cell in your body that you are meant for greatness and that you will achieve beyond your wildest dreams.   That all is truly possible!   What if it all was possible?

While I am watching and experiencing the Olympics I have been thinking of YOU! Advisors!

Why is it that these Olympic athletes can reach the top in the “world” in their sport and accomplish amazing things under incredible pressure and many advisors can not achieve the more simple task of attracting a bunch of ideal clients?

I know, I just kind of said that in a harsh way BUT there’s a reason I did that. Perspective!!  Part of my job is to give people perspective so that they can shift their mindset into achieving great things.

Many of you know that I have been a long time serious student of sports and performance psychology. Right now I am going to give you some wisdom and perspective that I hope will shift YOUR business and YOUR life!  If even just a little.

It’s actually very simple. If you are not currently attracting ALL of the ideal clients you want then…it is simply not as important to you as winning a gold medal is to the Olympic athletes you are watching on TV.

In other words do you REALLY want to attract a bunch of ideal clients? Not an easy question to hear but ~ how important is it to you “really” to attract a big bunch of ideal clients.

You are probably too busy worrying about other things and focusing on other things OR my favorite “dabbling” in client attraction. You are probably too busy convincing yourself that attracting clients is not as important as other stuff in your business.

How much do you think that these athletes are “dabbling” in their sport!!? Pretty crazy statement huh.

First things first ~ have you admitted yet that attracting ideal clients is the way to make tons more money and be highly successful in your business. OR are you still of the belief that attracting clients is secondary and it’s all about asset management!!?   If that’s the case then time to stop reading….LOL!  Because… in order for a business to be highly successful it needs to be attracting ideal clients continually.

It’s like telling an athlete that want to go to the Olympics…just do the competitions don’t worry about the training part.

Think of it this way: Your asset management and financial planning work are likened to the actual competition.   Your client attraction is the training the athlete goes through in order to do their competitions and be great at it.

In your practice:

YES it’s about giving them incredibly powerful advice that changes their lives and their families lives for the positive, however, you must have lots of ideal clients to do that with AND have more coming in regularly!

Here’s some more perspective for you. Do you have the passion and the belief to make it happen?

Do you truly have the passion to be hugely successful? Or is this just all a career to do for your life and “just” be comfortable enough.

Olympic athletes have MORE than passion they have a huge desire and a “calling” to accomplish greatness - to push the limits of what was thought of as possible, breaking world records for human sport.

Are you  pushing the limits of what is possible in YOUR business? Are you even accomplishing what has been done many times before you ~ a thriving multi-million dollar practice if that’s what you want?  Or an ideal practice you LOVE filled with all the ideal clients you need ~ while you work less time?  Why not?  Do you have the passion to do it? Are you “focused on the right thing?  Why not?

What do YOU need to do to become exceptionally successful in your business? Here’s a BIG one  ~ What do you need to do to reach a great many people and change their lives with your advice?

There is ONE answer ~  YOU need to attract a lot of ideal clients in!  It’s not a complicated answer but it may not be what you want to hear.   In order to achieve this you must have the right inspired mindset.

So athlete…the answer is you need to do the training and you need to do it better and more consistently than your competition!

Are you passionate enough about your goal and what you do in order to shift to achieving YOUR greatness.

You may have lost your passion along the way. You may need to get back on-track.  You may have clouded your mind so much that you are totally uninspired about your work.  If that’s so, then it’s time to get it back on track!!

THIS is why I will be focusing on teaching you (advisors) how to access your own inspired mindset that will shift you to achieving the dreams you were meant to. I will be doing this first through my Client Attraction Masters Circle and then the launch of my downloadable self guided programs on Mindset Lessons to achieve powerful results in your business and your life!
